Provider Identification & Licensure

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensed in North Carolina and registered to provide telehealth services in Florida and South Carolina. I work with adults and couples via online sessions.
Services are private pay, and I also accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and Aetna.

One-Sentence Orientation

I help adults in the family-starting phase of life (dating with intention, marriage, pregnancy, and early parenthood) who feel overwhelmed by these transitions and want support building confidence, emotional clarity, and stronger relationships.

Who I Commonly Work With

I often work with high-functioning adults navigating seasons of transition. Many are pregnant, postpartum, or on a fertility journey. Many are high-achieving, deeply capable people who carry significant responsibility and quietly wonder whether they may be ADHD, autistic, or otherwise neurodivergent — without seeking or assuming a formal diagnosis.

They were often raised by emotionally immature caregivers and learned early to be the capable one, the fixer, or the steady presence for everyone else. On the outside, their lives appear successful. Internally, they may feel anxious, unfulfilled, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming.

Clients often reach out during transitions they expected to handle better — fertility treatment, pregnancy, early parenthood, career shifts, or identity changes. Anxiety, depression, or postpartum mood concerns may be present, along with long-standing people-pleasing patterns and exhaustion from always putting themselves last.

Services I Offer

Therapy

When This Work Is a Good Fit

This work tends to be a good fit for people who value emotionally attuned, grounded therapy and are willing to actively explore patterns, nervous system responses, and practical shifts when something in their life no longer feels sustainable. Clients who appreciate collaboration, reflection, and relational depth tend to benefit most.

When This May Not Be the Best Fit

This work may not be the best fit if you are seeking crisis intervention, treatment for active suicidality, unmanaged psychosis, or a higher level of care. It may also not be a fit if you prefer a highly directive, manualized therapy model with prescribed weekly homework. My work is collaborative, insight-driven, and relational in nature.

Credentials & Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Brainspotting. My work integrates emotionally attuned, relational therapy with nervous system-informed approaches to support adults through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, identity shifts, and family-of-origin patterns.

I adapt these approaches collaboratively rather than rigidly, focusing on practical, sustainable change rather than protocol-driven treatment.
