Maybe your relationships are more strained than you'd like, or when you look back, the disruptive memories outweigh the fond ones.

This mix of emotions can leave you feeling sad and disconnected, even though deep down, you long to feel content and happy. It's also not unusual to feel a sense of guilt about your family relationships, especially when you acknowledge that your childhood didn't give you everything you needed.

While we can't change the past, we can definitely work on the present. In my practice, I use both EMDR therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help you process and reprocess the hurt and pain from your past. This way, we can start making solid plans for your future wellness. Working together, my clients develop deep insights about themselves, learn self-compassion, and begin to fulfill their needs for nurturing and validation.
